       It's a day dedicated to celebrating love—romantic love, friendship love, family love, and sister love. This weekend honors the value of having friends who care about you and who care about others. I was at school with my classmates. I'm sixteen and it was indeed the ideal Valentines . Although I don't have a "Valentine," I do have a wonderful family. I'd say I'm incredibly fortunate.  I realized, in my worry about being single on Valentines Day, I was being completely selfish. There’s a world of people without mothers or fathers or siblings or wives. People whose significant others are deployed or deceased or bed-ridden with a terrible illness. People terrified about college or finding friends or what to do with the rest of their lives.           Kannawidan Festival is celebrated every start of the year. The distinctive culture and traditions of Ilocanos are the highlight of this event. This acts as a means of bringing together every municipality in Ilocos Sur, and by doing so, it is able to strengthen and brighten the spark that leads Ilocanos to share a common culture and tradition.       The separation of Ilocos Sur from Ilocos Norte, which united all of the municipalities of Ilocos Sur and made it one, is another reason why the Kannawidan Festival is observed. Additionally, each municipality in Ilocos Sur is obligated to participate in the One Town, One Product showcase during the Kannawidan Festival in order to represent their product.                 Education is also how we store and distribute all the knowledge and skills we individually acquire. Learning is the most basic thing that we go through in order to achieve the goals that we want. Students are enthusiastic and hopeful about the addition of new lessons and enjoyable activities this second quarter.           This second quarter has taught me a lot of new things. Even though it drains me every day, I manage to keep going. Struggles are unavoidable if we are to achieve success; this quotation has served as an encouragement to me from the first day of 10th grade. It allows me to think deeply about how these difficulties will help me excel in every task that we are doing at school. I'm having some issues in quarter one, but this will serve as motivation for me to move up and establish objectives for myself.         Being a student is fun, you get to do ...
