           As part of its activities in this year’s celebration of National Children’s Month (NCM), the Department of Education (DepED) is set to launch a campaign that aims to strengthen the department’s campaign against bullying. This program aims to recognize schools that deliver positive results for the learners’ well-being.

 

           The future's torch-bearers are children. Therefore, it is observed by all schools with a variety of activities, including quizzes, discussions, and cultural performances like dance, music, and theater. For the benefit of the children, teachers plan and execute a variety of cultural events. DepEd also launched its Bullying Prevention campaign, which ensures the effectiveness of child protection committees and encourages community involvement in campaigns for the rights and protection of children.

 

           I am confident that this National Children's Month will inspire more significant efforts to develop a generation of learners who are informed and highly self-aware. Every contribution matters and transforms lives, whether it be participating in a school or community event, watching out for someone being bullied, or increasing awareness through conversation.
