One sound, one voice, one Ilocos Sur!




         Kannawidan Festival is celebrated every start of the year. The distinctive culture and traditions of Ilocanos are the highlight of this event. This acts as a means of bringing together every municipality in Ilocos Sur, and by doing so, it is able to strengthen and brighten the spark that leads Ilocanos to share a common culture and tradition.



      The separation of Ilocos Sur from Ilocos Norte, which united all of the municipalities of Ilocos Sur and made it one, is another reason why the Kannawidan Festival is observed. Additionally, each municipality in Ilocos Sur is obligated to participate in the One Town, One Product showcase during the Kannawidan Festival in order to represent their product. You can learn about and experience the distinctive cultures and traditions of each Municipality at this event. One event that I enjoyed during this celebration is jiving to the sound of the festive music of Kannawidan street Dancing and showdown. 


     The goal of the Kannawidan Celebration is to expose people to the many cultures and underappreciated abilities of Ilocanos. "The beauty of a city is mirrored on the beauty of the people," the municipality's beauty would be meaningless without the people who make it such a great city. One festival, one Ilocos Sur, one sound, one voice!

Every scene is a challenge

              Achievement is associated with the targeted goals or aims in life. When we define our action in relation to something like a goal, a task is created. The struggle in life is the sum total of our achievements, success, failures, mistakes. Since my primary objective is to engage in the honor role, I haven't made many progresses in the first quarter. As a result, I had a lot of difficulties concluding it. My position as vice president of the Arts and Photography club to which I want to the most would be considered my first accomplishment.                 As part of its activities in this year’s celebration of National Children’s Month (NCM), the Department of Education (DepED) is set to launch a campaign that aims to strengthen the department’s campaign against bullying. This program aims to recognize schools that deliver positive results for the learners’ well-being.              The future's torch-bearers are children. Therefore, it is observed by all schools with a variety of activities, including quizzes, discussions, and cultural performances like dance, music, and theater.
